Happiness Interactive (or Hi for short) was started by me, Rob Card to share what I have learned about generating lasting joy and fulfillment in life, and how that can lead to more success, better health, and better relationships.

As a Certified Personal Development Coach I have talked to many people about what they want in this life, and for so many it boils down to one thing … happiness. People just want to be happy.

BUT most people think that to find happiness they need to: work hard and be a success, make money, find the perfect relationship, and so on.

The trouble is there is NO evidence that these things bring anything but TEMPORARY happiness, if that.

AND since we usually feel that temporary jolt of happiness after we DO or GET something we have associated happiness with such things.

When in fact the exact opposite is true!

Happiness must come first AND when you are happy, as those studies found, you are more likely to be successful, healthy, and find lasting relationships.

This blew me away when I first discovered it.  Its not about finding happiness, it all about just being happy.

This started my whole philosophy to “Be Happy First” or “Be Happy Now”.

And now I know how to create happiness whenever I want!

Something else I found is that happiness is often an interactive process.  When I help others be happy, they in turn help me (mostly because I feel so much happier when I know I have helped someone else).
