What I’ve learned from working with a number of coaches over a few years is that just because someone has trained and certified as a coach doesn’t mean they’re an effective coach. Connecting with Rob Card as a coach is what I would call a lucky break. He has life experience, without which coaching feels shallow. He listens beyond the words, and from that space is able to ask “wake up” questions that shift me when I’m stuck. He encourages me to take the risks I want to take but can be inclined to talk myself out of. I just looked under the “news” section on his website. Read it.
