Yesterday an interesting thing happened.
A friend emailed me because she was compiling a booklet on how to beat stress and wanted to know how I did it. I sent along acouple strategies including the laughter yoga.
But I wanted to get the mantra down just right (the one I had originally heard was the ha-ha-hee-hee-hee, but on an internet video I had watches they had used ho-ho-hahaha, and I wanted to sent along what ever combination worked for me) so I was trying both over and over again to see which one I like. I finally decided I liked ha-ha-heeheehee and sent that off.
The funny thing is, twenty minute later I was feeling pretty good despite having had a pretty “blah” day up until then.
Which leads me to believe that doing laughter yoga more often is not so bad of an idea.
So I encourage all of you in your factories or cubicles, in your cars or on your buses, in the malls or in the parks, wherever and whenever you can, try a little laughing for no reason.
Your body can’t tell the difference and you’ll most likely feel better for it.
