What makes me laugh today is the fact that today’s post, Laugh Life Day 42 (42 being the meaning of life, the universe, and everything – for all of you Hitch-Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Fans) should fall on Valentines Day
Which might suggest that the meaning of life the universe and everything is … Love.
After all, all you need is love.
I might even go as far as to say that a great life is made of love and laughter. One of my own little sayings has always been “Live, Love, Laugh” (not to be confused with “eat, love, pray”).
To me these three words sum up what is important in life:
- Live – as in live life to the fullest, take action, be “alive” in your own life and live it with passion and purpose.
- Love – yourself and others with equal intensity, be kind to yourself and to others, give what you can and accept what is given to you.
- Laugh – well I’ve had 41 other blogs about this so I think you know where I stand here.
So to break it down (and now I’m just getting a little silly) perhaps the meaning of life (is to live), the universe (is to love), and everything (is to laugh).
It works for me.
