Savour the Little Things

Today is a beautiful spring day and every time I look outdoors I can’t help but smile and feel happier.

It helps that the stressful part of my show is overwith and I’ve actually been getting enough sleep in the past few days, but that is only part of it.  I talked in my last post about the fact that I was gettin distracted from my happiness including savouring the little things in life like a beautiful day.

Well the strategy from my previous post worked, I have been successfull distracting myself in ways I like for a week now and I’m feeling so much better.

Sometimes if you are feeling particularly stressed you need to give yourself the permission to take a bit of mental vacation and distract yourself with something fun.  It will do wonders.

Now I am back to my old self again (well almost) and really enjoying everything I can that makes life so wonderful.

And as much as I hadn’t been doing a whole lot of it recently, I seriously plan to …
