Apparently, talking to complete strangers is not my forte. So I’ll move onto talking to people I do know and seeing if they know anyone who could use a little more laughter in their life.
I think for now I’ll probably be offering this as a free service, simply because it may be a little too new for some people to really get what I’m doing. So I may need to get some people who I’ve worked with and can attest to what it is I do, before I make this a full business.
Dan Pink (I’ve talked about him a couple of times on this blog) mentions that there are not-for-profit companies, then there are not-only-for-profit companies. This last group are doing what they are doing because they love doing it. The primary aspect of the company is not to many money but to do what they love, BUT they also to want to make a living doing what they love. This is how I see myself, in it for the laughter first and the paycheck second.
I am doing this not for myself but to share happiness and laughter, it would just be a huge bonus if I could also make a living doing this.
The one thing I do know though, is that if you want to be successful, you have to help others first. So if anyone out there does want to have some help in laughing more, or laughing for no reason, or in getting into action in your life, drop me a line. I’m always willing to help.
