I have always loved when people, including myself, try to say something, but the words just don’t come out right.
I have several books on signs, headlines, ads, typos, and such where as hard as we try, we just say the wrong thing.

This guy actually did a scientific-eque study to find the worlds funniest joke. I don’t know if you would agree with his findings or not, but it’s an interesting site to learn about how different people approach humour.
